Community-reported directory. This page collects the reported numeric codes used across the Vanderboom estate weekend, from the free Demo through the premium days and the post-credits quest. Every code here is player-reported and has not been cross-checked against an official source on this wiki; confirm each code in your own game.

Master codes directory

• 235 — Breakfast wall cabinet (upstairs shelf); Day 1 / Demo; unlocks the sugar canister for Aldous's porridge.
• 728 — Secret locked side box; Day 1 / Demo (optional); unlocks the black bird egg (traded with the wall hand).
• 243 — West hallway gallery safe; Day 1 Friday night; unlocks the grandfather clock pendulum key.
• 374 — Attic hatch padlock; Day 1 Friday night; unlocks the upper roof beams and the constellation attic.
• 1753 — Night-watch grandfather clock dial; Day 1 night watch; unlocks the library secret door mechanism.
• 315 — Kitchen brass coffee grinder; Day 2 Saturday morning; unlocks fresh espresso grounds for William.
• 91276 — Hunting room trophy lockbox; Day 2 Saturday afternoon; unlocks the silver hunting rifle cartridge.
• 281 — Upstairs guest bathroom pressure valve; Day 2 Saturday evening; unlocks the hot water supply for the guest bath.
• 2451 — Alchemical annex reagent cabinet; Day 3 Sunday morning; unlocks the distillation beaker and Mandragora extract.
• 1643 — Cellar pendulum timepiece lock; Day 3 Sunday afternoon; unlocks the Lady of the Lake cavern iron gate.
• 6294 — Wine cellar secret safe (Kate's Brother); post-credits; unlocks the Underground Passage Key ("You've Found Him").

Codes that are not number pads

Several Demo puzzles look like codes but are not keypad entries: the carriage tin cups arrange five cups by ascending stripe count (one through five) for the coachman's coin; Aldous's exercise mirrors the toy soldier direction sequence Left, Right, Down, Right, Right, Down; the patterned dresser box rotates tiles with the central disc until patterns align (yielding the razor); and the clock face is set to 7:00 (short hand on VII, long hand on XII) to wake Aldous.

Recommended order when hunting Demo codes

1. Sign the servant contract and receive the breakfast assignment from the maid.
2. Collect milk, the pot, the mouse-for-matches chain, kitchen wood, and oats.
3. Solve the portraits for 235, unlock the sugar, and finish the porridge.
4. Optional: enter 728 and complete the easter egg before Aldous's room.
5. Continue with the bedroom puzzles including the insect berries — the Demo has no further numeric codes.

Full game codes

The premium release is expected to expand the estate beyond the Demo's areas. Rusty Lake has not published additional safe combinations for unreleased rooms; any future codes will be added to this page only after verified play, with the Demo values above kept for reference.

FAQ

Which Demo codes are required? 235 (breakfast cabinet for sugar) is required for the porridge chain; 728 is optional and only needed for the reported black-bird-egg easter egg.

Do codes change between playthroughs? Players report the listed codes as fixed; the full game may introduce new combinations beyond the Demo.

Where do the portrait clues come from? The reported clue for 235 uses three portrait animations (Aldous shakes his watch three times, Alexandra raises two fingers, William blinks five times); see the puzzle solutions page.

Can I use 728 on the breakfast cabinet? No. Players report the breakfast cabinet accepts 235 only; 728 belongs to the separate easter egg box.

Why does the game reject my code even though I counted correctly? Check that you are at the correct lock (235 for the sugar cabinet, 728 for the easter egg box), let the portrait animations finish before counting, and confirm you collected the small pot from the shelf above the breakfast cabinet first if the game expects that progression.
